Meeting Packages

Our atmospheric first floor is fully equipped with 12 multifunctional (meeting) rooms, allowing us to adapt completely to everyone's requirements, whether large or small. This floor is fully wheelchair accessible and has a spacious terrace. The break-out is a cosy public space where one can go for an extensive lunch where our team of chefs prepares the most beautiful buffets.

The following packages are valid on the basis of a minimum of 11 persons and cannot be combined with other promotions.

How can I reach the hotel?

Van der Valk Hotel Gent is located at Akkerhage 10, 9000 Ghent. The hotel is accessible by car, public transportation, and taxi.

  • Distance from Charleroi Airport: 103 km 
Does the hotel have parking?

Yes, Van der Valk Hotel Gent offers parking for guests at a fee of €10 per 24 hours. The first 4 hours of parking are free. Parking is available next to the hotel and underground, with a maximum height of 2m10 for the underground parking. 

Can electric vehicles be charged?

In the above-ground car park of Van der Valk Hotel Gent, 8 EV charging stations are available to charge your electric car at 11kW per hour (no fast chargers).

Are pets allowed in the hotel?

Dogs are permitted at Van der Valk Hotel Gent, while other pets are allowed upon request. For our pet policy, please refer to the page on our website: https://www.hotelgent.be/facilities/pets

What are the check-in and check-out times?

Check-in is possible from 3:00 PM and check-out is by 11:00 AM at the latest. If you wish to check out later or check in earlier, please contact the hotel reception. 

Is there a restaurant at Van der Valk Gent?

Yes, Van der Valk Hotel Gent has two restaurants. Restaurant Cocotte on the ground floor is open every day for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Mr. Sato restaurant located on the 10th floor is open on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday evenings, offering Asian cuisine. 

 

Do I need to make a reservation for the restaurant?

We recommend making a reservation in advance to ensure a table at your desired time. Reservations can be made via https://www.sevenrooms.com/reservations/vandervalkgent 

 

What are the options for getting to the city center?

There are several options to travel from Van der Valk Hotel Gent to the city center: 

Public transportation: We recommend planning your route via https://www.delijn.be/en/routeplanner/ 

Taxi: You can take a taxi from the hotel to the center of Ghent. This can be convenient for quick and direct travel. The reception can arrange a taxi for you. 

Own car: Distance to Ghent city center: 5 km

Is Van der Valk Hotel Gent in the low emission zone?

How can I book a massage?

Massages are provided by the Weleda City Spa. You can book online at https://cityspa.weleda.be/en or through the hotel reception. 

Is the reception available 24 hours?

The hotel and reception are available 24/7. 

Does the hotel have a bicycle storage?

There is a bicycle storage in our underground parking. This can be found near our elevators. The bicycle storage is not locked, but there is CCTV surveillance in our parking. We recommend providing your own bicycle lock. 

 

I have lost something at the hotel, what should I do?

Contact us by phone or e-mail and we will check if something has been found. We keep lost items for a maximum of 3 months.

What is the tourist tax?

A tourist tax of € 3.50 per person per night applies to stays in the city of Ghent. An environmental fee of € 0.85 per person per night is also charged.

Which rooms have a bathtub?

Our executive rooms and suites have a bathroom with a walk-in shower and bathtub.
