Prefer to explore by bike? No problem at all. In only 19 minutes of cycling, you will arrive in the heart of Ghent, where you can enjoy its charming streets, historic landmarks, and cozy terraces.

For guests who prefer public transport, a bus stop is located just a 2-minute walk from Van der Valk Hotel Ghent. From there, you can take bus line 19 to Ghent-Sint-Pieters railway station, which provides easy connections to the city center. This bus service runs from 6:00 AM to 9:00 PM, Monday through Friday. At Van der Valk Hotel Ghent, you can park comfortably in our underground and above-ground parking, with space for 150 cars. Additionally, extra parking is available within walking distance.

For hotel guests, the rate is €10 per 24 hours. Visiting us for a quick business lunch or a romantic dinner? The first 3 hours of parking are free. Guests attending an event or meeting will receive parking information directly from their contact at our sales team.

On the above-ground parking lot of Van der Valk Hotel Ghent, 8 EV charging stations are available to charge your electric vehicle at 11 kW per hour (no fast chargers). With these charging options, you can enjoy your stay without any worries.

Payment for charging is made directly at the charging stations by scanning your charging card. There is no reservation system for the chargers. Whether you are visiting us for a delicious lunch, a flavorful dinner, a productive meeting, or a relaxing overnight stay, we offer you the opportunity to charge your car while you are with us.
