Thanks to our convenient location near both the E17 and E40 motorways, you can reach the historic centre of Ghent by car in just 15 minutes. Prefer to take the bike? No problem. Within just 19 minutes by bike, you can reach the centre of Ghent and enjoy the charming streets, historic buildings and cosy terraces.
For those who prefer public transport, there is a bus stop just a 2-minute walk from Van der Valk Hotel Gent. From there, you can take line 19 to Gent Sint Pieters station, from where you can easily continue your journey to the historic centre. However, please note that during the weekend no bus runs to Gent Sint Pieters station. In that case, you can always contact our reception to book a taxi.
